Simplifications

- I’m always romanticizing the collective while back in Canada and while in classes at university but always wishing for the individualistic freedom when having to above by the rules or responsibilities of collective structures
- Struggling to find the balance between appreciating the equality and well-being of the “weakest” person in the collective structures vs. enjoying the luxuries of an independent non-responsibility-laden lifestyle
- cherry on top: only reason I was able to come to Vanuatu was because of the individualistic structures that I ideologically believe to be more violent or barbaric than a collective structure

There goes another simplistic notion I used to hold about collective living being superior to an individualistic lifestyle.
