Ambitious-ness

So, recently I realized that I’m not feeling competitive or ambitious: I don’t feel the need to conquer the world (I mean figuratively, of course… or do I *suspense music background*:P). Is this because I’m growing up? Because the international experience has humbled me to realize how much (or lack of) of power we as individuals have? Because I’m disillusioned by the state of the world? Or because the Melanesian’s laid back style is affecting me?
